Full HDTV Launch Event
The Old Truman Brewery, London - May 2007
Our most challenging event for LG to
date, Salt was tasked with designing and producing the flagship
European launch of LG’s Full HDTV range. A two-day dealer
trade show for UK dealer principals was to be complemented
by a star studded press launch party. Our objective was to
raise LG’s brand profile, demonstrate the superior quality
of the Full HDTV technology and gain maximum PR coverage.
The Salt+ solution was to host the event in the cutting edge
environment of Brick Lane. A white space within The Old Truman
Brewery was transformed into a fully fledged LG brand experience
with an eclectic mix of lifestyle zones featuring Full HD
TVs as fireplace, fish tank, work of art and even an entire
garden – living proof that Full HD technology is as
good as the real thing. The press party was a success in its
own right with a live gig from Lily Allen, DJ-ing from Primal
Scream's front man Bobby Gillespie and dancing from a host
